I say NP as long as it’s not too rusty and the electrics work.

It’s a modern (post ‘98) V70, they don’t get rusty. The electrics will probably be OK (depending on if it has the throttle by wire or not), what you care about are the Nivomats, the angle drive and the PCV system (and head gasket). If everything is in order, or even if only needs new Nivos, it’s probably nice price.

I say that because we had a V70 of that gen and nothing electric worked.

Was it in an accident? The electrics on these, asside from the throttle by wire unit, a practically bomb-proof in my experience...

As far as I know, no. The rear wiper was busted, the seat heaters were both kaput, the seat memory wouldn’t remember, and the headlight wipers were just decoration.
